Authentic Pierre Jeanneret stool crafted from solid teak and welded iron, featuring a distinctive round tripod base and a subtly concave seat. Stamped with marking U.Z. 238.

Description

This rare teak and iron stool was designed by Pierre Jeanneret for the High Court of Panjab University in Chandigarh as part of the iconic mid-century modern furnishings created for Le Corbusier’s urban planning project.

The piece is in excellent vintage condition, showing light wear consistent with its age and use. A timeless example of minimalist design and Indian modernism.
