Characterised by its distinctive three-legged construction, the stool features a solid teak frame with gently tapered legs and a triangular seat intricately woven in natural cane. Its geometric silhouette reflects Jeanneret’s architectural sensibility, balancing functional simplicity with a sculptural presence.
The richness of the aged teak contrasts beautifully with the natural texture of the woven seat, lending the piece a tactile quality and understated character. Retaining its patina and signs of age acquired over decades of use, the stool remains an evocative example of Chandigarh-era design.
