One side is supported by a  panel forming the left leg, fitted with a drawer and a lower open compartment. The other side is defined by a profiled leg with a flat triangular rail, the detail that gives the desk its characteristic silhouette. The hollowed circular grip, a signature of Jeanneret's Chandigarh furniture, appears on the drawer front.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eOn the visitor-facing side, four central pigeonhole compartments are flanked by two larger open sections, giving the desk generous and genuinely useful storage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThis desk has been lightly restored, with a new black work surface fitted.
