DESCRIPTION
Jeanneret's administrative desk showcases masterful cabinetry in solid teak and veneer construction. The substantial rectangular top, detailed with a thick-edged apron, rests upon a distinctive X-frame base assembly. The right side features a bank of four drawers, beautifully integrated into a box section.
The architectural base design includes a stabilizing rail and connecting crosspiece, demonstrating the period's emphasis on both form and structural integrity. The warm teak grain patterns are enhanced by the premium veneer work, particularly evident in the desk's top surface.
