Description

This substantial dining table exemplifies Christian Liaigre's distinctive approach to furniture, where architectural form, material integrity and restrained detailing come together.

Executed in ebonised oak, the table is defined by its generous 6 cm thick top and sculptural crossed-leg base, connected by a vertical metal beam. The tabletop is secured with a discreet flat metal plate slotted into the wood, an understated construction detail that reflects the precision of its design.

Custom-produced prior to the Holly Hunt licensing period, this is a unique example rather than a later licensed production.

The table remains in excellent structural condition. Its surface shows minor scratches from use, together with a small chip to one corner, which can readily be repaired. The piece has yet to be restored and can be professionally restored by us prior to delivery, or supplied in its current condition for those who prefer to undertake the restoration themselves.
