Description
Designed by Poul Kjærholm in 1956, the PK22 is one of the defining icons of Danish modernism. Characterised by its refined proportions and elegant steel frame, the chair reflects Kjærholm's belief that steel deserved the same artistic respect as wood.
This matching pair was produced by E. Kold Christensen, the original manufacturer of Kjærholm's early designs. The original wicker has developed a beautiful natural patina, complementing the understated steel frames.
Both chairs are presented in excellent vintage condition, showing light signs of age and use consistent with their history.
A timeless addition to a living room, library or gallery-inspired interior.
