Description

Designer Anita Le Grelle named her wall lamps Louis and Jack, after her twin sons.

“Lighting that does not scream for attention and does not take up too much space, but makes a simple statement thanks to its subtle nature: I just couldn’t find it,” the designer says of her collection. “I began experimenting in my workshop with different strips of stoneware clay. I laid one over the over, linked them up. This is how I finally ended up with Louis and Jack, two complementary, yet different wall lamps made of stoneware, each with their own personality.

‘The purpose of my work is to make the most of the characteristics of the material and its process in the form of objects that express calmness.’
